Meet the Pastor
Get to Know Us
After living many years under a false belief of salvation, Pastor Lee surrendered his life to Christ and was born again, in the front seat of his pick up truck in 2006. He felt God’s call on his life to preach the Gospel in June of 2013 while praying on the altar for his son to be used. That night God plainly spoke to Pastor Lee’s heart and said “I don’t want your son, I want you”.
While faithfully serving many years as a right-hand man to his pastor, and teaching Sunday School, God unexpectedly called the Lee’s to Bell Baptist Church. Pastor Lee accepted the call to pastor Bell Baptist Church in September of 2019.
He and his wife Dayla are high school sweet hearts and have been married since January of 1997. They are blessed with three children, Gavin (married to Haley), Dalys (married to Joseph), and Madi, along with three grandsons; Solomon, Austin and Thomas. Pastor Lee and his family consider serving the Lord and the beloved people of Bell Baptist Church a sacred privilege.
Pastor Derek has a Master’s Degree in Ministry from Biblical Studies Theological Seminary, Carrollton, GA.
